The Competition Division
The BSST Competition Division brings together experienced sailors from across the association to represent Bocconi in university and open regattas in Italy and abroad. Built around training, teamwork and competitive sailing, the division gives members the opportunity to race at a higher level while continuing to develop as a crew.
COMPETITION
Since its creation, the Competition Division has taken part in major student and Italian regattas, including the Course Croisière EDHEC, where BSST crews achieved strong results in 2022 and 2023. The team has continued to compete successfully in Italy, with several strong finishes and race wins since then.
TRAINING
Competitive sailing is built long before race day. Our crews train regularly on Lake Garda and in other sailing locations, working on boat handling, manoeuvres, tactics and coordination. The objective is simple: arrive at every regatta as a prepared, cohesive and competitive crew.
