In April 2027, Bocconi Students Sailing Team will return to the Course Croisière EDHEC in Les Sables-d’Olonne, France, with two J80 crews representing Università Bocconi.
What is the CCE?
The Course Croisière EDHEC is the largest student sporting event in Europe, bringing together thousands of students from universities and schools across Europe for a week of sailing, sport and social events. The sailing regatta is at the heart of the event, bringing together competitive university crews in one of Europe’s most established student sailing competitions.
BSST at the CCE
BSST has competed in previous editions of the CCE. In 2023, two crews represented Bocconi and finished 4th and 13th in the student ranking. Since then, our Competition Division has continued to train and race in Italy and abroad.
The 2027 Project
For the 2027 edition, BSST is preparing two J80 crews for a full week of racing in Les Sables-d’Olonne. The project will involve months of preparation, crew selection, training and organisation ahead of the event.
Built before race week
The CCE project begins long before the start line. In the months leading up to the event, the crews will train together, develop race strategy and prepare the boats and logistics required for the competition. Our objective is to arrive as a prepared, cohesive and competitive Bocconi team.
